Below is an example of a fake Internet Banking email which encourages you to logon to your internet banking. The problem is, the link they provide is to the scammers fake site which looks just like the real thing. If you enter your username and password you will give them to the scammer!

The link in this email does not go to the Westpac site but instead to http://binbash.infobox.ru which in turn loads the real Westpac site in the background and the following login box in the foreground. If you enter your username & password as requested you are giving it to the hacker!
